UMK Kampus Jeli is one of the campuses of UMK and has been fully operational since 1 January 2012. UMK Kampus Jeli is located in the Gemang forest area, surrounded by small and attractive hills. With its strategic location between the towns of Tanah Merah and Jeli, the Jeli campus is situated on the East-West highway that connects the East and West. With an area of 279 acres, the Jeli campus currently houses 3 faculties, namely the Faculty of Agro Based Industry (FIAT), the Faculty of Earth Sciences (FSB) and the Faculty of Bioengineering and Technology (FBKT), as well as several University Centres of Excellence that focus on teaching, learning, and research activities, namely the Agro Techno Park (ATP), Research Institute for Food Assurance & Sustainable Agriculture (IFFSA) and Gold Rare Earth & Materials Technopreneurship Centre (GREAT).
In addition, UMK Kampus Jeli also houses administrative centres that offer services to the campus residents under the coordination of the Director of UMK Jeli Campus at the Jeli Campus Administration Centre.
